Video: In the new generation “Hyundai Santa Fe” the SUV has angular shapes – Delphi

“Hyundai” designers, while working on the fifth generation of “Santa Fe”, have been really brave and created a car that will make passers-by look back, because the new generation “Santa Fe” SUV has acquired angular shapes.

Although theoretically the first SUV class model created by “Hyundai” was the “Galloper” (using the technical components of the “Mitsubishi Pajero”, it was produced from 1991 to 2003), it was the “Santa Fe” that made “Hyundai” recognizable on the global market. Since the launch of the Santa Fe in 2000, more than five million units have been sold worldwide. The Santa Fe is one of Hyundai’s most successful SUV models and has significantly contributed to the brand’s growth.

The program “Tavs Auto TV” has put the man whose character in the film “Dream Team 1935” led the Latvian basketball team to gold medals in the European Championship behind the wheel of the new “Hyundai Santa Fe” of the “RJ76 Films” studio. Jānis Āmanis has also acted in many TV series (“Unloved”, “Likteņa līdumnieki”, “Viņas melo kjejų” and “Ugunsgreks”) and was an actor of the National Theater for 16 years. He is currently working on various stages – “Oratorio”, “Eastern border” and “Willa theater”, as well as focusing on project management and carpentry.

If the previous “Hyundai Santa Fe” was a more or less typical representative of the SUV family, which could also be confused with analogs from other manufacturers from a greater distance, this car is something special. It is a massive, angular vehicle, but at the same time refined. It’s really different from the typical locals we’re used to seeing on the streets.

“Santa Fe” available with five or seven seats; thanks to the huge wheelbase, the cabin is spacious, the backrests of the second and third row of seats can be lowered, creating a completely smooth floor. On the other hand, at the wheel you can feel like the captain of the ship, settling in comfortable comfort seats. Designers have indulged their imagination in the interior as well – massive planes, huge panels, but it is interesting that they do not look heavy, but rather thorough.

In this car, you can also find very unique equipment – it has an ultraviolet light sterilization compartment, which is located above the glove compartment on the passenger side. It can disinfect phones and wallets, helping to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the car interior.

The SUV shown in the show is equipped with a 253 hp plug-in hybrid power unit. Its development is based on a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine coupled with a 67 kW electric motor and a 13.8 kWh battery pack. In 100% electric mode, this hybrid can cover around 50 km.

The base price of the new “Hyundai Santa Fe” in Latvia is 56,900 euros. In addition, families with many children in Latvia currently have access to state support for the purchase of rechargeable hybrids – the amount of support for seven-seater electrified cars is 9,000 euros.

The Bold New Hyundai Santa Fe: Retraining Your Neck Muscles!

Brave designers at Hyundai have taken quite the leap! The new fifth-generation Santa Fe showcases an angular design that’s so striking, you might actually injure yourself turning to get a second look. It’s like they tossed a Rubik’s cube into the blender and served us a smooth—albeit hefty—SUV smoothie!

From Galloper to Globally Recognized

Now, to put things in perspective, while Hyundai dipped its toes into the SUV pool with the rather unremarkable Galloper back in the ’90s, it was really the Santa Fe that sent their stock soaring among customers everywhere, amassing over five million sales since its launch in 2000. If that’s not a successful family reunion, I don’t know what is!

Celebrity Endorsements and the New Adventures

The excitement doesn’t stop there! Enter the fascinating world of Latvian cinema where Jānis Āmanis, a man who can lead a fictional basketball team to gold medals, has been spotted behind the wheel of this new vehicle. Because trust me, who wouldn’t want to take driving tips from a guy who’s juggled roles in three different TV shows and has dabbled in carpentry?! Maybe he can build you a customized interior for the Santa Fe!

A Shape that Stands Out

The previous Santa Fe may have been the wallflower at the SUV party, but this new edition is the star that shakes things up! With its massive and angular profile, it looks like a vehicular bouncer ready to kick in the doors at some fancy nightclub…except it’s not just all looks; it’s still refined. Imagine being the captain of a ship, but a ship that comes with wifi and heated seats! Now that’s what I call navigating the high seas—or rather, the high streets!

Space Galore: Family Friendly and Stylish

The new Santa Fe is versatile enough to accommodate your entire brood. Offering five or seven seats, it’s spacious enough to carry family members, pets, and possibly a few questionable life choices. And those second and third-row seats? They fold flat like that one cousin at Thanksgiving who just can’t seem to handle the turkey!

Hyundai’s Hygiene Innovation

But wait, there’s more! Step right up to the ultraviolet light sterilization compartment—yes, you heard that right! It’s not just for your phones; you can throw your wallet in there too and feel like a germ-fighting superhero! Who knew you could have cleanliness issues in an automobile? Talk about a clean getaway!

Power Meets Eco-Friendly

With a power unit rated at 253 hp—complemented by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and the efficiency of a plug-in hybrid—you can glide through life knowing you’re not just another gas-guzzling SUV owner. You’ll get around 50 km on electric alone! That’s right, your next road trip might not just take you to the edge of town, but to the edge of environmental sanity!

Price Tag and Family Benefits

Now, if this sounds like a dream machine, get ready for the price that comes with it—€56,900. But in classic fashion, there’s a silver lining: families in Latvia currently have state support that could save you a whopping €9,000! It’s the kind of deal that might even make you consider having more children, just for the sheer savings! Who said parenting was all responsibility?

Wrap-Up

So, whether you’re eyeing it for its looks, space, or the possibility of keeping your valuables clean—just don’t be surprised when you find yourself in a conversation about how the Santa Fe is not just another SUV. It’s a statement! And a hefty one at that!
