The artistic community is still living under shock, following the death of the Egyptian artist Hisham Selim Last month following a battle with cancer.
Amidst the sadness, a state of anger prevailed during the past hours, following the Kuwaiti media, May Al-Aidan, published a video through her own account on the social networking site Instagram, which she said was for the last hours of the late’s life.

Idan said that the video documents Salim’s last moments while he was in the intensive care room, and was filmed by a hospital worker.
Selim appeared from the sick bed connected to artificial respirators, as if trying to wave to whoever was recording the video.
And she wrote a comment: “The last video of the late Hisham Selim from the hospital in intensive care before he breathed his last,” and completed her words with a prayer for the late.
However, her behavior did not go unnoticed, as it caused widespread controversy and indescribable anger through social media, if some considered it a violation of the privacy of death, and a blatant attack on the feelings of the family.
Despite the controversy, the media has not commented on the criticism so far.
Struggle with disease
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian artist Hisham Selim had died on September 22 last, at the age of 64, following a struggle with cancer.
Hisham Selim’s acting roles varied, and his first movie appearance was in the movie “Empire of M” 1972, then he participated in the films “I Want a Solution” 1975, and “The Return of the Prodigal Son” 1976.
