The atmospheric V12, an endangered species, is not dead! Thanks to the Ferrari Daytona SP3, this engine plays in stoppage time at a time when hybridization is added to most thermal blocks…
In a video posted on YouTube, our colleagues from Motorsport Magazine had the chance to take the wheel of this model on the emblematic circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium. The Daytona SP3 is part of Ferrari’s Icona program, initiated by the Monza SP1 and SP2.
Produced in only 599 copies, the new exclusive supercar from Maranello therefore embeds the 6.5-litre V12 of the 812 Superfast. However, it has been slightly reworked to offer 840 horsepower at 9,500 rpm. While the torque is 697 Nm.

Stunning figures allowing it to shoot down the 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds. The 0 to 200 km/h is expedited in 7.4 seconds, for a maximum speed of 340 km/h.
On the Belgian track, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 releases all its power and makes the V12 block scream, to the delight of our ears! Just over 7 km long, Spa-Francorchamps offers a perfect playground for the Italian supercar. The driver was able to push the Italian supercar up to 260 km/h, in 5th gear… Needless to say, there was plenty left under the right pedal!
As a reminder, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is displayed at 2 million euros. The 599 units planned have all already found takers!
