The landscape is breathtaking, the show is just as much. Between skyscrapers and palm trees stands a gigantic egg-shaped building 77 meters high. The Dubai Museum of the Future was inaugurated on Tuesday: it will house a permanent exhibition of new technologies. For the occasion, the inventor of the jetsuit, Richard Browning, flew over the museum with his invention. The public present hastened to congratulate the inventor once on the ground.
Mr. Browning explains his performance with his love of innovation: “The opening of the Museum of the Future is really exciting for me because there is a clear link between the values that led to the development of what I wear, he says, pointing to the jetsuit, and what’s inside the museum.
There is a common ethos, a common spirit of inspiring and exciting innovation, an “I can do it”. The founder and leader of Chief Test Pilot of Gravity Industries, holds the world record for the fastest flight in a manually controlled jetsuit, at a speed of 135 km/h in November 2019.
