On the morning of this Wednesday, an act of insecurity was recorded in the Pie de La Popa neighborhood, in Cartagena. Three people were chatting on the terrace of a commercial establishment, near the La Fuente store and the La Ermita church, when an armed man appeared, covering his face with a mask and with a defiant attitude tried to clear them of his belongings.
Two of the victims – a man and a woman – tried to flee from the thief’s gaze, but the third, a tall and stocky young man, stayed in his place and looked fearlessly at the thug who, apparently, was intimidated. with the bravery of his victim.
In a matter of minutes there was an exchange of words, blows and the thief shot the young man in the leg, then fled the scene. The boy, wounded but full of courage, looked at his leg and at the bandit as he ran terrified. Everything was recorded on security cameras.
The Metropolitan Police is aware of the fact and confirmed that the victim has a wound on his left leg. He stated that they were two thieves, on a motorcycle, who wanted to steal a gold chain from him.
