VIDEO. Gas leak leaves people intoxicated in Culiacán, Sinaloa

Culiacán.- At approximately 6:30 p.m. this Tuesday, August 30, the emergency numbers rang with the report of intoxicated people behind a well-known shopping center located in the south of Culiacan, Sinaloa.

So far the report indicates that six Ambulances rushed to the scene to provide first aid. who turned out intoxicated by the leak of an unspecified substance, without more precise data to date.

According to Civil Protection the gas would be ‘chlorine’, while the Secretary of Public Security of the State of Sinaloa, Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo, assured on his Twitter account ‘@Mtro_CCastaneda’ that it is ammonia.

“An ammonia leak was reported in the vicinity of a supermarket on Blvd. Zapata in #Culiacán. The call of the authorities is to avoid circulating in the area. It is already found
@PC_Sinaloa @SEDENAmx @CruzRojaCln and #PEPSinaloa for the security of the site,” the official posted.

The escape took place by Tauro Amaras Street in the Fancisco Villa colonywhere in addition to the Red Cross, elements of different public security corporations went to the area to prevent the tragedy from escalating.
