Moments of panic were experienced at Bogotá’s El Dorado airport when a foreigner, identified as Veselin Dimitrov Hristov, a Bulgarian national, tried to commit suicide in front of passengers and Colombian immigration officials.

The event, recorded on video, would have occurred because the foreigner, apparently, They would have stolen his suitcases at the airport where he had his return tickets to his country, money and his passport, among other belongings, so he demanded that Colombian Immigration respond and give him some airline tickets to return to his country.

Colombian immigration officials explained to her that, given the situation, she should go to her country’s embassy in Colombia to report the case and receive the necessary help, since this is not the responsibility of the Colombian immigration authority.

The man was transferred to the Colombia Clinic in Bogotá, where he recovered from his injuries, and in the last few hours, according to information from immigration authorities, Hristov left on a flight to his country.
