Artists continue to join the voices expressing their opinion regarding the ‘tiraera’ that the former member of 13TH Street dedicated to J Balvin. In social networks, several music interpreters have reiterated their support for one and the other, but who recently came out to talk regarding the subject was, neither more nor less, that Rubén Blades.

The emblem of salsa published a video on its Twitter account where, to the rhythm of dembow (typical of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean), sent his support to Residente, and incidentally dedicated several lines that were interpreted as another ‘tiraera’ towards the Colombian reggaeton player.

It is worth mentioning that on Wednesday the 9th, the Panamanian announced that this Thursday he would make a comment regarding the controversy starring J Balvin and Residente. “I am going to do it because my name is out there, going around. So, since they took me there, I am going to make a short comment in the appropriate language”, he expressed.

And as he said, he did: on Thursday night he uploaded his message that was, at the same time, a “tiraera” where he mentioned both the Puerto Rican and the Colombian.

In context: Resident pointed to J Balvin for the beginning of their rivalry: “He has to endure”

What did Blades say in his song?

At the beginning of his message, which lasted less than a minute, the singer-songwriter and activist referred to his forced involvement in the other’s discussion. Later, he expressed his support for Residente: “My name has appeared on social networks and newspapers, and that conflict that is foreign to me forces me to comment; make no mistake and I want this to be clear, I advise René because I love him as a brother”.

Immediately followingwards, he sent a phrase that was forceful, as he ratified the accolade he gave the rapper; In addition, she advised him by saying what he thinks in moments of rage.

“When sometimes rage, my reason twists; I say to myself Rubencito, eagle does not catch fly”proclaimed the Panamanian, and the following verse was also taken as a ‘dart’ towards the paisa.

“It’s not love and affection, it’s love and affection, it’s love and control, letting the child scream sometimes is better”, stoned; but the phrase she sang followingward ended her round of strips, and though she didn’t mention Balvin, many assumed it was meant for him, too.

“There is an old truth, that only the good learn: that gold never buys, to whom his soul does not sell”Blades said. Later, he invited them both to lower their spirits and even had time to invite them to listen to ‘Salswing’, his most recent musical production.

Calm down listening to the album of the year, Salswing”, the artist concluded in the video that, on Twitter, has reached more than 2,100 ‘likes’ in less than three hours.
