Apple makes iPhone SE 5G-ready
STORY: Showtime on Tuesday in Cupertino, California. At an online event, company boss Tim Cook presented new products. The main focus was on the cheaper iPhone model SE. That has now been upgraded. It’s 5G-ready and has better battery life, according to Apple. The US group announced that the new devices would be launched on March 18th. The news boosted shares in European Apple suppliers on Wednesday. For example, the shares of semiconductor manufacturers AMS and Infineon rose between 4.5 and 6.4 percent.
