Video – A campaign on social media to protect mental health

UNICEF Lebanon and the National Mental Health Program at the Ministry of Public Health launched a campaign on social media, addressing mental health issues faced by young men and women in Lebanon during the current crisis.

The campaign calls for “expressing feelings and seeking support from friends or family or by calling the National Mental Health Hotline”. In addition, the campaign provides advice on mental health and shares ideas on how to deal with mental health.

It is stated that the primary objective of the campaign is to raise awareness regarding what can be done to protect the mental health of young men and women, while recognizing the things that need to be addressed and that are not within their control.

The effect of the campaign is to increase the knowledge of young men and women of what they, as individuals as well as their caregivers, can do to protect their mental health.
