Inter Milan terminated the contract of midfielder Arturo Vidal by mutual consent.
Italian media reported that the 35-year-old Chilean player will move to the Brazilian Flamengo for free, following he underwent a medical examination last week.
Vidal played 71 games with Inter and scored four goals in all competitions in two years, winning the League title in 2020-2021 and the Italian Super Cup and Italian Cup last season.
“The club would like to thank Arturo for his two years with the club, in which he won three titles,” Inter said in a statement.
Vidal, who played 133 games for Chile and scored 32 goals, joined Inter from Barcelona and has previously represented Juventus and Bayern Munich.
Inter was the runner-up in the league last season, two points behind rivals AC Milan.
