Despite the many reports in the media in recent hours, Victoria 3 will not be available on PC Game Pass at launch
Paradox Interactive’s strategy game will be released on October 25. According to the Swedish company, it will be exclusive to Steam and will not be available on the Microsoft Store or the Redmond company’s subscription service.
On the official forums, a spokesperson explained that “following discussion with our partners, it has been decided that Victoria 3 will not be part of the Gmae Pass or the Microsoft Store”. They didn’t give reasons for the decision, or explain how the game might have previously been listed on the Microsoft Store, but they did say they’ll provide more details regarding their “future partnership with Xbox” in the future.
