LeBron James was delighted with the clown nose. Dave Martinez thinks otherwise.

Cameras caught Robles in the dugout with a clown nose on Sunday, a day following Arizona pitcher Madison Bumgarner called him a “clown” for hanging around to admire his home run in the eighth inning of Washington’s loss. for 7-2.
James posted the photo of Robles with the clown nose in a story on his Instagram account and added: “Something I would do for sure!”

Martinez was not as enthusiastic regarding Robles’ response following Washington’s 4-2 victory on Sunday.

The incident began Saturday when Bumgarner chafed at the Dominican’s reaction, admiring a solo home run that pulled the Nationals within 7-2.
“Clown,” said Bumgarner. “He’s not ashamed. You’re down 7-1, you hit your third home run of the year and you act like you’re Barry Bonds breaking a record. You have to be serious. I don’t care that I allowed the home run. That we won 7-2 or 8-2, whatever. It’s frustrating”.
