On a mission to the People’s Republic of China, Vice President Félix Ulloa together with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adriana Mira, held a meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Han Zheng, and his team in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
During the meeting, the vice president’s gratitude was expressed for China’s cooperation in projects such as Sunset Park, the National Library, the National Stadium and the Ilopango Water Treatment Plant, while Political Consultations were also held to strengthen relations between both countries.
President Nayib Bukele’s leadership was praised by Vice President Zheng, who recognized effective results such as the fight once morest gangs and the recovery of peace in the communities, highlighting El Salvador as one of the safest countries in the region.
Likewise, the interest in promoting economic growth through tourism, renewable energy and technology was highlighted, seeking a strategic ally in China.
