Asunción, IP Agency.- Vice President Pedro Alliana participated together with the director of the Yacyretá Binational Entity (EBY), Luis Benítez, in the delivery of assistance to families affected by the floods in the department of Ñeembucú. He also accompanied the installation of social protection tables in Pilar
Food was delivered to recyclers from the Pilar landfill, EBY reported, in addition to touring the areas affected by the floods.
The Vice President of the Republic, Pedro Alliana, pointed out that the situation is being evaluated in order to see the possibility of reinforcing the help of State agencies to the communities affected by the climate phenomenon in this region of the country.
He highlighted the coordinated work that central government institutions are carrying out with the Department’s Government and municipalities for road assistance and recovery tasks.
This Friday An amphibious backhoe arrived in Pilar as part of the reinforcement of machinery and assistance provided by the Government.
