The Vice President of the Republic of El Salvador, Félix Ulloa, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Peru, Jorge Rosado de la Torre, to consolidate the friendship between both nations and explore opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the Peruvian diplomat praised the positive progress made by El Salvador and expressed his government’s interest in strengthening trade relations, especially in sectors such as textiles and real estate, where Peruvian companies see investment potential in the Central American country.

In the field of tourism, both leaders highlighted the significant achievements of El Salvador, including the development of Surf City, a destination known for hosting international surfing competitions. They also discussed the future agreement between the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL) and the Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador, aimed at promoting Salvadoran gastronomy globally, as part of joint efforts to boost the national tourism sector.

In addition, he recognized President Nayib Bukele for his dedication and contribution to the well-being of Salvadoran communities. This gesture reflects international recognition of President Bukele’s work in the positive transformation of the country.
