Vice President Harris: US concerned about improving Moscow-Beijing relations

The US authorities are concerned regarding the improvement in relations between Russia and China following the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, US Vice President Kamala Harris said at the Munich Security Conference.

“We are concerned that Beijing is improving relations with Moscow following the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine,” said Ms. Harris, TASS quoted her as saying.

From February 14 to 22, Wang Yi, the head of the office of the commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on foreign affairs, and the former head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Yi, are to arrive in Moscow. The specific date of the visit was not named. According to Vedomosti sources, he will discuss the meeting between President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Moscow. By the end of February, Beijing will present its plan for resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Wang Yi said.
