Vice Ministry of MSMEs and Equifax sign agreement to exchange information and create credit profiles

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Vice Ministry of MSMEs of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) and the company Equifax signed an agreement for the exchange of data that allows the creation of more precise credit profiles.

Vice Minister Gustavo Giménez said that the exchange of information will help create credit products that benefit micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The agreement is a starting point for developing a new platform for this economic segment, benefiting both companies and their workers. He stressed that the MIC and Equifax are committed to working together to implement this platform, using the technology and data available.

Among its objectives, the agreement includes cooperation to promote entrepreneurship and the creation of new companies, providing support to MSMEs for their formalization and market insertion, as well as training and advice.

The signing ceremony was attended by the CEO of Equifax, Hernán Pariso; the Vice President of Legal Affairs of Equifax Latam, Mario Arrúa. Representatives of the various departments of the Vice Ministry were also present.

With this alliance, SMEs are expected to have greater resources and opportunities to grow and prosper, thus contributing to the economic well-being of the country, the MIC reported.
