Samsung established Samsung Electronics’ color TV factory in Mexico in 1988 and started producing TVs to supply to North America. A complex production complex was also built in Tijuana, Mexico.
For the Dos Bocas oil refinery construction project, Samsung Engineering succeeded in winning the basic design order in 2019, followed by the main design, procurement and construction orders in 2020. This is the largest EPC (Engineering/Procurement/Construction) project since the founding of Samsung Engineering.
