You had three years together at VfB – now a lot looks like separation.
Today Borna Sosa and Sasa Kalajdzic (both 24) see each other once more for the first time following the dramatic rescue in Stuttgart. In the evening (8.45 p.m.) the two will face each other for the first time, in the Nations League the Croatians will receive Austria. Kalajdzic is now even threatened with family trouble.
The reason: girlfriend Lorena is Croatian. Your message is loud and clear. Kalajdzic: “If I score a goal and Croatia wins, it’s okay for them. But if I score a goal and Croatia lose, then I don’t have to show up at home. I don’t know if there might be fights followingwards. We’ll see what will happen.”
The same applies to the striker’s change request, who wants to leave VfB this summer. A point on which the buddies Kalajdzic and Sosa agree. Both might move to BVB (BILD reported), then they would even stay together.
But with Kalajdzic, FC Bayern is another top German club in the running. Traveling abroad is also a big topic for both players. That means: The exchange poker might drag on for a while, Kalajdzic said on “Krone.TV”: “You have to see where I can be a better Sasa.”
But before that, Kalajdzic has to show whether his Austrians are ahead of Sosa’s Croatians.
