The Kärcher company, which has been in partnership with VfB for many years, has equipped the VfB premises with 31 mobile AF 100 air cleaners. The powerful devices are equipped with so-called HEPA 14 filters and reliably filter pathogens such as viruses and aerosols from the room air. In this way, they make a direct contribution to improved health protection. The Kärcher air cleaners are used in the junior training center as well as in the professional wing, in the conference and meeting rooms of the club center and in the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Bacteria, dust and pollen don’t stand a chance
The special thing regarding them: An additional coating of the filter material with silver ions also eliminates germs and bacteria, while an activated carbon layer also efficiently eliminates dust, pollen, odors, volatile organic substances, chemical vapors and other pollutants. A precise laser sensor is integrated for continuous monitoring of the room air and control of the automatic mode. The air quality is displayed on the device at all times using a clear color scheme. The current level of fine dust in the air and the remaining filter runtime can be read at any time on a display.
