It was precisely Morales who revealed, more than two years following the social outbreak, that having supported the demonstrations affected his acting career, which he assured generated “very large costs, professional costs”.
The program’s participants were having dinner at the 42-year-old actor’s house when Zulueta asked him “What were you like as a teenager?”, to which the theater director also replied “Terrible”, unleashing laughter.
“I didn’t get to live adolescence as much as ‘Oh, my parents don’t let me go out for a ride’ (sic), it was the opposite,” Morales began by recounting. “I started working at 14 […] at 16 I left home and it was a difficult adolescence”narrated.
This gave way to the actor telling how this stage of his life was linked to his participation in the Social Outbreak: “Everything that was claimed in the social revolt is directly related to my history”.

“We were in a very complex context, where I said ‘my networks are available to anyone who wants to report, to anyone who wants and needs’, and this is what happened”he said on the show.
To this he added that there were mothers who contacted him to find their children who did not appear following attending the demonstrations.
“We had to take sides, I was not going to remain silent, I was not going to come to my house knowing that there were young people who went out on the street and were taking their eyes”Morales stated.
After this, the actor revealed: “It has been very difficult, because obviously it has had very large costs, professional costs […], but the biggest costs that we all experience is that we meet family and friends who at that moment decided to cross the street and be on another sidewalk”.
