Recently, the artist, Menna Arafa, was a guest of the “Kalam El Nas” program, presented by the media, Yasmine Ezz, and broadcast on MBC Egypt, to talk regarding her latest artwork and scenes from her personal life.
The announcer asked an embarrassing question to the artist, Menna Arafa, during the program, that if she was offered the role of the artist, Zaki, in the movie, which was recently shown on Netflix, “Friends and My Dearest,” and caused a sensation in the artistic community.
Arafa replied that she did not watch the movie at all, but saw the attack on the artist Mona Zaki and that she keeps her opinion and that she loves the artist very much.
And the announcer continued: Are you afraid to say your opinion? She replied that her opinion is not important and she keeps it to herself because her opinion will not change anything and no one cares.
And that the artist Mona Zaki is a conscious artist who has a passion and knows what to do, and that as long as anyone is convinced of the role he is playing, he will not be harmed by people’s opinions.
She confirmed that the attack on the artist Ahmed Helmy because of the scene of the artist Mona Zaki in the movie “Friends and My Dearest” was unfair, “not pure justice, and each one is responsible for his actions.”
