George, congratulations on the release of this unique rendition.⁢ What inspired the decision to revisit “World”?

Thank you! it all started during our collaborations ‌with George‍ and Oak, this amazing artistic duo. While performing some of their quirky arrangements of‍ classic Latvian songs, we realized there was a ‌magic in blending these timeless melodies with a contemporary‌ sound. “At the moment, the world is changing hypertail and somehow be able to get along with it …”

The lyrics by Leon Brie and the⁣ lovely melody by Raimonds Pauls‍ speak to the global human experience of navigating moments of uncertainty and change. It’s a song about resilience, ‌finding hope amidst challenges, and ⁣ultimately, the enduring power of connection⁤ and community. In today’s world, those themes feel more importent than ever.

And to ⁢bring this concept to life, You’ve also created an incredible⁣ music video.Tell us about the ⁢inspiration behind it.

We were inspired by several sources, including the Latvian‌ film “Criminal Excellence⁤ Foundation,”⁣ and also the stylish and sometimes ‌darkly humorous approach of Quentin Tarantino and ‌Jean-Pierre Jeunet. imagine a world of forbidden goods – Czechoslovakian “made for the masses” boots, dazzling gemstones carefully smuggled in from eastern Bloc countries, traded ⁣for ‍Latvia’s national currency “Gorsldar.” Our video follows a very shaddy wise-guy operating in this world, navigating the dangers and temptations of this⁣ forbidden trade.

George, what message do ⁣you hope listeners connect with after hearing this song and watching the video?

First and foremost, we want people to feel the⁢ energy and passion in this music. We want them to remember the enduring power ‌of Latvian music and‍ see it through a fresh, vibrant lens.
