Very comprehensive dossier on Jerry Lawler with health updates, how it all happened and medical details and more! – Info-Fight

There are conflicting reports of the “serious medical episode” WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler suffered on Monday night, but word is his condition is improving.

As noted, it was reported Tuesday that Lawler suffered “a serious medical episode” at his condo in Fort Myers, Florida on Monday and required hospitalization.

Lawler had gone out with friends for lunch earlier in the day, and some time later fell ill and was rushed to hospital. It was later reported by Action News 5 in Memphis that Lawler had suffered a stroke and had undergone successful surgery, but was already recovering.

In an update, Dutch Mantell provided more details on King’s condition after speaking with Lawler’s son Kevin, who had spoken with his father’s doctors. Mantell said Lawler was confirmed to have suffered a stroke and lost sensation in his right side, but sensation had returned and was improving.

It was also said that Lawler suffered from left-sided paralysis when the stroke happened, which he was taking over. Mantell added that Lawler had also suffered paralysis on his right side immediately after the stroke, but by late afternoon he had regained use of his arm.

According to Mantell, Lawler’s speech was still affected around tonight, but doctors expected it to return and take more time to improve. Lawler’s condition was described as good, and he is expected to recover from the episode.

Dave Meltzer later reported that Lawler suffered from a blood blockage on the right side of his brain and not a stroke. The report also says Lawler was found face down outside his home on Monday and was immediately rushed to a local hospital.

Lawler reportedly woke up from surgery and tried to speak, but couldn’t. He is still hospitalized in Fort Myers.

It was also noted by Meltzer that Lawler’s son Kevin was traveling to Florida to be with his father, and he was in touch with WWE.

The 73-year-old Lawler just worked on the WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff pre-show and made a public signing in Florida over the weekend.

Lawler previously suffered a stroke in late March 2018 and he also suffered a massive heart attack while commentating on RAW in September 2012 in Montreal at the Bell Center, where WWE will be for Elimination Chamber.

The good news, he would be fully recovered.
