After more than two weeks of deliberation, the 12 jurors are preparing to deliver their verdict on the attacks in Zaventem and Maelbeek. They voted on the guilt of each of the ten defendants, seven being in the box and two, the Farisi brothers, appearing free. The tenth accused, Osama Atar being presumed dead in Syria. The result of the deliberation should be communicated to the audience from 4:30 p.m. But the reading can start a little later.

The jurors answered nearly 300 questions with “yes” or “no”, the result making it possible to identify the criminal responsibilities held for each defendant. A total acknowledgment presupposes having answered “no” to all the questions. Partial acquittals may be pronounced for certain charges.
