The ground staff of the leading European air transport group Lufthansa are called for a new strike from Wednesday to Friday in the main German airports by the Verdi union, which says it is dissatisfied with the state of salary negotiations.
Verdi is calling for walkouts between Wednesday 5:00 a.m. GMT (06:00 local) and Friday 10:59 p.m. GMT (11:59 p.m.) nationally, he announced in a statement on Tuesday. According to a spokesperson, only certain categories of ground staff will be affected.
