Veolia invests 20 million euros in its subsidiary Triade Electronique in Angers to treat old refrigerators

Triade Electronique, a subsidiary of Veolia, inaugurated on October 25 in Verrières-en-Anjou, on the outskirts of Angers (Maine-et-Loire), a unit for the depollution and dismantling of large cold household appliances (Gem cold): refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, refrigerated display cases… This 6,500 m² factory, which represented an investment of 20 million euros, is, according to Veolia, the largest French recycling unit for these cold Gems. It strengthens the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) processing center set up in 2008 by Triade in Verrières-en-Anjou, the company managing four factories of this type in France.
