Venezuela’s participation in the Olympic Games this Sunday, August 4

This Sunday, August 4, three athletes will represent Venezuela at the Paris Olympic Games. The athletes who will represent the national tricolor are: Douglas Gómez, Patricia Ferrando and Rosa Rodríguez.

The Creoles who will be participating in the Olympic Games competitions:

• Douglas GómezThe Venezuelan will participate in the discipline of men’s 25m rapid pistol shooting, qualification, phase 1. He is 41 years old and was champion of Central America and the Caribbean in 2010.
• Patricia Ferrando: The Creole will compete in Equestrian, individual dressage (final) She won a gold medal at the 2009 Bolivarian Games
• Rosa Rodriguez: This Venezuelan athlete will be present at the Athletics competition, women’s hammer throw
