- The Venezuelan community abroad is scheduled to demonstrate in 16 countries
Users on social media reported on July 28 that Venezuelans abroad have gathered in various public spaces abroad, in support of the presidential elections.
In Chile, the foreign community is scheduled to meet at three concentration points located in the cities of Santiago, Iquique and Concepción.
According to the Instagram account Venezuelan Diaspora in Chile, the demonstration will begin at 3:00 pm in Plaza Pedro de Valdivia, in the commune (municipality) of Providencia in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago. However, at 10:00 am there were already people gathered at the site.
Meanwhile, a group of Venezuelans attended the Venezuelan Embassy in Peru on the morning of July 28 to support migrants who will be able to exercise their right to vote in that country.
People attended wearing clothing with the Venezuelan flag and sang the National Anthem.
Venezuelans abroad who can vote on July 28
According to data from the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), almost 8 million Venezuelans have migrated from Venezuela. Of that total, only 69,211 can exercise their right to vote.
In this country, Venezuelans are scheduled to gather in the cities of Lima, Trujillo and Ica starting at 11:00 am.

The non-governmental organization Alianza por Venezuela in Argentina placed a banner with the word Venezuela near the Venezuelan Embassy in Buenos Aires. On the mural, people have written messages in support of the Venezuelan community and the elections that will be held on July 28.
The canvas is also part of a gastronomic fair for Venezuelan entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, from 11:00 am, gatherings were scheduled in the city of Córdoba; Río de Gallegos, in the province of Santa Cruz; Mendoza; and in the Plaza Intendente Seeber in Buenos Aires.

Venezuelans in Australia were the first to vote in the presidential elections on July 28. Meanwhile, in Asia, the first voters were announced in Japan.
Following them, ballot boxes were opened in European countries such as Switzerland, Portugal, France, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Voting began at 6:00 a.m. in Latin America. Social media users have published reports on how the election day is going in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Panama.
