An 18-year-old Venezuelan boy was sexually abused in Peru, where he was in transit with the intention of migrating to Chile.
He was with a 20-year-old Colombian friend, and both were raped by two men who approached them offering their friendship and also support to get a job that would allow them to raise the funds to travel to the country they had as their final destination.
The facts became known after the young people, named Ángel GG, from Venezuela, and Juan BG from Colombia, went to the Alto de la Alianza police station on Friday with a representative of the Women’s Emergency Center (CEM) to present their cases and carry out the complaints.
They did the medico-legal examinations which determined that both young men had recent traumatic injuries in the anal area.
