Venezuelan Popular Consultation: Minister Ceballos Encourages Sovereignty Exercise

Caracas._ The Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, following voting this Sunday, took the opportunity to invite the entire Venezuelan population to fully exercise sovereignty and participate with the vote in the popular consultation process called by the Power Election this Sunday

From the GJ Alberto Müller Rojas Ecological High School, located in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas, he expressed: “The Essequibo is ours, we reject the Arbitration Award of 1899 and accept the Geneva Agreement as the only way to resolve this controversy.”

The sectoral vice president of Citizen Security, also highlighted the election day: “It is a day of national unity, of ratification of the Venezuelan nation, of our name and our culture.”

This Sunday, December 3 (3D), the consultative referendum in defense of Essequibo will be held in the country, for which 20 million 694 thousand 124 Venezuelans are authorized to vote, according to the National Electoral Council (CNE).

For this process, 28,027 polling stations distributed in 15,857 voting centers are operational, in the 335 municipalities of the 24 federal entities of the nation.

Likewise, 84,227 polling station members are ready for this consultation, some 55,000 people as technical personnel for a total of 139,227 prepared to defend and guide in the electoral process.
