The first secretary of the Venezuelan embassy in Argentina was involved in a dark episode. The official was delayed following illegally taking photos of an official from the United States embassy and the secretary of the court led by the federal judge of Lomas de Zamora Federico Villena.

Both were being photographed without permission by the Chavista diplomat when they were inspecting the Boeing 747-300 belonging to the Venezuelan company Emtrasur, a machine purchased in turn from the Persian company Maham Air.
