Both were being photographed without permission by the Chavista diplomat when they were inspecting the Boeing 747-300 belonging to the Venezuelan company Emtrasur, a machine purchased in turn from the Persian company Maham Air. The aircraft has been detained in Ezeiza since June 2022 due to another irregular incident and faces confiscation at the request of US justice, which will be carried out shortly. That is, the plane is regarding to be taken to the United States.

The Venezuelan diplomat who was delayed is José Jesús Jatar Díaz. He was taking photos and was on the Ezeiza runway when the new authorities of the Airport Security Police (PSA) intercepted him along with another man who was carrying him in a van from the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC). The Chavista official was with a credential that did not authorize him to be there and following being delayed he was declared “persona non grata.” He left the country on Thursday without being expelled, it was reported from Migrations.

This scandal affects the leaders of La Cámpora, who managed and continue to manage in one way or another parts of the ANAC, and Nicolas Maduro’s ambassador in Buenos Aires, Stella Lugo, because Jatar Díaz is and was his right-hand man since he was governor of the state of Falcón. This was stated by high sources to this newspaper.

According to other sources that study the financing of narco-terrorism, Jatar Díaz would have entered the Venezuelan foreign service at the hands of Ghazi Nasr al-Dine (his name is also written as Nassereddine), a Lebanese and also Venezuelan citizen whom the FBI maintains it on its “wanted” list. He is accused of being linked to the Shiite militia Hezbollah, which according to Argentine justice is responsible for the terrorist attacks on the Israeli embassy here and the AMIA. Ghazi Nasr al-Dine is also accused of being related to the drug trafficking of the Suns cartel along with Tareck el Aissami, former vice president and former Minister of Oil of Venezuela, today out of the public scene.
