Venezuelan Cocoa and Chocolate Growers Movement defines its lines of action

The Venezuelan Movement of Cacaoteros and Chocolate Producers (MVCC) held an important meeting at its headquarters located in San Antonio de los Altos, headed by its national coordinator, Leudys González.

During the meeting, fundamental issues for the philosophical consolidation of the movement were addressed, highlighting the need to identify the flags of struggle and work that define the MVCC.

González stressed the importance of building loyalty among the membership around the principles of peace and sustainable production, which are essential for the efficient management of local activities.

The organizational development values that will govern the MVCC in the coming years were also discussed, along with the planning of strategic events to strengthen the movement.

The active participation of representatives and stakeholders in the cocoa sector was another crucial point of the meeting.

González stressed that the social action of the board must be transformed into tangible benefits for the country’s cocoa and chocolate producers.

In addition, emphasis was placed on the need for these actors to be incorporated into regional, municipal and communal structures, contributing their knowledge and experience to the proposals that the MVCC receives and disseminates, thus ensuring greater cohesion and efficiency in the work of the movement.
