A shocking testimony was shared by a Venezuelan citizen who intends to return to her country following living for almost two years in Chile.
As the woman explained, she has been “stuck” on the Chile-Peru border for three days, where she survives with her entire family group, made up of 11 people.
“I entered through Colchane, through an unauthorized passage. When I arrived in Chile I self-denounced and kept signing. When I was going to come here (the border), I went to the PDI and said ‘I’m leaving’, they told me ‘if you leave, you are still illegal, because the deportation letter does not appear’ (in the records)”, he added in with you in the morning.
Asked regarding her decision to leave Chile, the woman was clear: “There are many Venezuelans who are leaving shit here in Chile, so we all pay for one who is leaving shit, so it’s not fair.”
