Venezuelan boy honors victims of Texas school shooting

Josué Benjamin, a Venezuelan boy known on social media for making plasticine sculptures, paid tribute to the victims of Tuesday’s shooting at an elementary school in Texas, United States. In the event, 19 students and two teachers lost their lives.

The assailant, Salvador Ramos, 18 years old, was killed in the shooting. Before perpetrating the massacre, he shot his grandmother, who is in serious condition. Another 17 people were injured, including two policemen.

Given the commotion generated by the event, Benjamin wanted to pay tribute to the deceased.

“I was given the news today that all these children had their lives taken when they were at school. As soon as I got home I decided to honor each one of them by making their sculpture so that we can all remember them. I’m so sorry,” he said. Joshua Benjamin.

And he added: «I believe that children are God’s gift on Earth. I see it as if we were little stars that illuminate people».
