Venezuelan aeronautical authorities on alert due to Hurricane Beryl

Aeronautical authorities of Venezuela! Venezuela’s National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) said on Monday, July 1, that, given the proximity of Category 4 Hurricane Beryl, specialized teams are on alert for changes in atmospheric conditions in case measures need to be taken to ensure transportation safety.

In a statement published in X, the government asked the aeronautical sector to be attentive to future official communications, with the aim of “increasing awareness and prevention to avoid incidents and air accidents.”

According to INAC, it is a “dangerous phenomenon that will produce abundant cloudiness with rainfall of varying intensity” and “electrical activity (…) over a large part of the Caribbean country.”
