Venezuela produces 96% of its food for the first time

The Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted the scope of the Economic Recovery Program

During 2024, Venezuela managed to produce 96% of the food its inhabitants consume for the first time, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported this Tuesday.

The senior official published audiovisual material on her X account where she highlighted the significant achievement in food security of the Bolivarian Government.

“Guaranteing full supply for our people. “Together with President Nicolás Maduro, let us continue to be united by raising our economy with the Economic Recovery Program,” he wrote.

The video was accompanied by the phrase: “Eating the food we produce as a family is pride.”

In the last three years, the country has experienced a progressive recovery in its economic, commercial and productive areas thanks to the policies implemented by the national Executive accompanied by social protection for Venezuelans.
