The outcome might have been dramatic. Two individuals aged 18 and 19 were taken into custody overnight from Thursday to Friday for attempted homicide. They are accused of having carried several stab wounds to a 26-year-old man at the drive-thru of a McDonald’s in Vélizy-Villacoublay (Yvelines). A violent brawl that would have started with a simple remark that the authors would not have appreciated.
This Thursday evening around 11:20 p.m., a car stops at the fast food order terminal. On board, three women and the boyfriend of one of them, on the passenger seat. The two men are delivery men who came to pick up an order. They approach the only man in the car, at the passenger seat window, and punch him. The victim comes out, and the fight escalates. One of the delivery men then stabbed him in the buttocks, arm and chest. Then the two flee.

In the meantime, the passengers in the car call the police and their relatives. The aggressors turn around. They return to the scene to retrieve a phone they dropped. But the victim’s family members have arrived, and take them to task in turn. The delivery men manage to escape, however, with a few broken teeth.
They are finally arrested by the police a few minutes later, in the parking lot of the neighboring commercial area. Still in custody this Friday morning, they should be heard during the day. The Versailles prosecutor’s office opened an investigation, and retained the count of attempted homicide once morest them. The victim is seriously injured but his vital prognosis is not engaged.
