Some 10 million pesos and a lot of 510 tickets for illegal sale were seized last night by the Buenos Aires City police in the preview of the match between Velez y River in Liniers for the Professional League Cup.
The Department of Violations and Misdemeanors of the Police carried out an operation at the entrances to the José Amalfitani stadium, where a group of people operated who offered, in a disguised way, tickets to watch the game.
The agents followed the fans interested in buying tickets and discovered an illegal sales organization in the parking lot attached to the Vélez sports center.
Some nine people were accused of violating article 108 of the City Misdemeanor Code, who had in their possession 510 tickets and 9,823,600 pesos.
The Criminal, Misdemeanor and Misdemeanor Prosecutor’s Office No. 35, in charge of Dr. Celsa Ramírez, is investigating the case.
