Security forces killed a total of five terrorists in three separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to ISPR, a joint operation was conducted in Mohmand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and three terrorists including Qari Qari of Fitnat-ul-Khawarij were successfully killed.
During the operation, hideouts of terrorists were also destroyed and cache of arms, ammunition and explosives was recovered.
However, during the fierce exchange of fire, Constable Abrar Hussain of KP Police fought bravely and embraced martyrdom.
In another intelligence-led operation in Dera Ismail Khan district, security forces effectively destroyed a hideout of terrorists, resulting in the killing of Mullah Mansoor, the outlaw of Fitna al-Khawarij, while three others were killed. The terrorists were injured.
Kharee Safatullah was involved in several acts of terrorism in the area, including facilitating the December 12, 2023, suicide bomb attack in Daraban and was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.
In the third operation in the district of North Waziristan, another foreign terrorist of Fitnah-ul-Khawarij was killed by the security forces.
