After the touching minutes, István Bebes, mayor of Körmend, gave a speech. The city manager quoted the words of the composer Richard Wagner, according to which: the music of life is given by women, who honestly and unconditionally accept things in order to transform them into something more beautiful through their feelings. In the closing part of his speech, the mayor also mentioned that his term as mayor will end on September 30, and that he will not run for office again in the June elections. – Even if not in body, I will be here with you next Women’s Day in spirit, because during my work I have always considered these gatherings very important. Respecting and appreciating women is the least that men can do for them, he said.
After the words of praise, music was played courtesy of Csaba Bicó Horváth, and each lady received a rose at the festive ceremony.
