Reached Kannur at 12.13 pm and Kasarkot at 1.10 pm. Time 7 hours 50 minutes. One hour and 10 minutes earlier than Thiruvananthapuram – Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express which currently operates through this route.
Rajdhani Express runs 15 km less than Vandebharat as it is via Alappuzha. The Vande Bharat service ended in Kannur in the first run on Monday. If it took 7 hours and 10 minutes then, it took 6 hours and 53 minutes to reach Kannur. Time saving is 17 minutes. A maximum speed of 110 km/h was achieved yesterday. It took 53 minutes to reach Kasar Kot from Kannur.
