Valve has started rolling out a new version of its Steam Mobile app.
However, not everyone will be able to try it out yet, as it is currently only available in a “limited beta”. Valve said it was waiting for a public release to make sure the app worked on “many different phones and devices”.
“We have rebuilt the app on a new framework and updated the design,” Valve said in a brief. Blog post On the website, before rudely adding: “(2015 they called and wanted their app back).
“You’ll still be able to browse the store, get Steam Guard codes, and confirm transactions, but the app now comes with QR code sign-in, smarter notifications, an improved library, and multi-account support.”
