Valve has made great strides with the Steam Deck since its launch. Last February, you had to put yourself on a waiting list to hope to get your hands on one of these consoles. Now that production is well underway, not only have fans finally been able to receive their console, but we learn that Valve will be giving away approximately 180 Stream Decks during The Game Awards.
Here’s what you need to know to to participate in a competition. You must be in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom or Europe to register. You must also have made at least one purchase between November 14, 2021 and November 14, 2022 on the Steam platform. Your Steam account must also be valid and unrestricted.
The Steam Decks will begin to be drawn on December 8 at 8 p.m., which is when the Game Awards ceremony begins. Entrants will also be required to watch The Game Awards through the streaming official the Steam if they want a chance to win.
So we wish you all good luck, don’t forget to register quickly since the ceremony is fast approaching and don’t forget to go vote on the Game Awards website if you want to see your favorite game of the year win a prize!
