Despite having been played by tens of thousands of people in the last few weeks and having been talked about in some way, only in these hours has Valve officially admitted the existence of the MOBA shooter Deadlockopening a minimal Steam page.
From this page, however, we don’t learn much about the title. In fact, there is only a short trailer, which you can see below, and two notices. The first one reads that “Deadlock is still in the early stages of development with a lot of temporary artwork and experimental gameplay”, while the second states that “access to Deadlock is currently limited to invites received from friends of playtesters”.
While the Steam page launch didn’t lead to much, Valve did announce a major change to the Deadlock rules. As confirmed by Yoshi on the game’s Discord server, Deadlock can now be shown on video streaming platforms, as well as talked about online.
“Nothing changes in terms of our development status,” Yoshi added. “The game remains invite-only and continues to be in an early stage of development with a lot of temporary artwork and experimental gameplay.”
Deadlock is coming to PC soon.
