During his decades of work in theater and cinema, V. Masalskis has created more than a hundred roles. Not one of them has become the artist’s own business card and perfectly reflects the artist’s imagination and empathy, allowing to understand the other. According to him, it is precisely these qualities that are necessary for an actor, because they are essential tools for building a dialogue with the audience and talking regarding important topics that are often simply pushed out of our public space.

When asked how he was going to celebrate his anniversary, V. Masalskis said that he simply can’t bear to celebrate birthdays, but his wife organized a concert of actors’ songs “One carefree evening” next Saturday in Kulais (Plungės district), where they live – it will start the seventh ” Sofia” festival.

“It’s not really my birthday event, but it’s a nice opportunity to meet and spend time with friends. After that, we will all have dinner, eat a cake, hang out,” said V. Masalskiskis.
