The Cameroonian and her 6-year-old child are therefore not obliged to return to the caregiver’s country of origin this Sunday, the deadline given to them by the Population and Migration Service. of the canton of Valais.

The petition continues

But all is not yet settled. The canton, in its letter, will begin, through its services, a request for a humanitarian permit from Bern. However, it will be the federal authority that will have the last word. In case of refusal, the canton will indeed have no other choice than to oblige Nathalie Ngono and her son Ethan to take the plane for Cameroon.

The mobilization therefore continues. The petition, asking to grant this humanitarian permit to the Chablais resident, reached more than 9,000 signatures on Wednesday.
