Valais: Huge inferno of flames – major fire in Monthey destroys furniture company

A major fire broke out in Monthey on Monday at 8 p.m. According to a spokesman for the Valais canton police, the fire broke out behind a company on the Avenue du Simplon. The fire brigade and police are on site to fight the flames, which can be seen from afar 20 Minutes writes.

According to a witness, it was a business complex, which also housed apartments and a furniture store. “I know some people who live there, it’s really sad for them.
