Val Fortore, steals money from a wallet at a petrol station: 35-year-old reported

The Carabinieri of the San Marco dei Cavoti station, coordinated by the San Bartolomeo in Galdo company, reported at large a 35-year-old from Val Fortore, already known to the police, for the crime of theft.
Last July, a local citizen reported to the military that he had gone to refuel his van and had forgotten his wallet on the dispenser for a few minutes, and that when he returned to get it, he had no longer found approximately one hundred and fifty euros inside it.

Upon receiving the complaint, the military immediately started the investigations of the case, focusing on the analysis of the images taken by the video surveillance system of the fuel distributor, thanks to which they were able, also with photographic recognition, to identify and report to the Judicial Authorities the 35-year-old who, having arrived on board his car, had noticed the wallet, had furtively taken possession of the money contained in it, had put it back and had driven away.

The man reported is a person under investigation and – therefore – presumed innocent until a final sentence is reached.
The Carabinieri of the Benevento provincial command are daily engaged in the fight against predatory crimes by responding to every request from citizens through the emergency number 112, the stations present and the patrols in circuit throughout the province.
